The Trinidad Youth Council (TYC) will be hosting our 11th Annual Sports and Family Day on Saturday 12th August, 2017 from 10:00am to 7:00pm at the Eddie Hart Savannah. Given that our Annual Sports and Family Day will be held on International Youth Day, we will be using the theme ‘Youth Building Peace’. The purpose of the TYC’s 11th Annual Sports and Family Day is to create a youth friendly environment to facilitate engagement and dialogue with our youth. We create a safe and enjoyable atmosphere where we will employ the use of fun and recreation as a developmental tool towards educating and enlightening young people.
The TYC is hereby extending an invitation to the public to attend our Sports and Family Day. The event is free to all. The day’s events will include the following:
- Dance Past
- Youth Village ( Information sharing)
- Football Competition
- Novelty Games
- Horseback riding
- Obstacle course, Face painting, Ring Toss, Tin Pan Alley, etc.
- Motorcycle Rides
